Purpose of Network

The Skills and Volunteering Network shares best practice around the range of ‘soft’, transferable, and underlying employability skills that everyone requires in order to be successful in the working environment. The specific skill set will vary, depending on the vocational/professional sector; but will include communication, numeracy, ICT, working with others, and problem solving. This Network aims to place Skills at the heart of the college curriculum.

  • Analysis and review of core skills units

College staff who have responsibility for essential skills, employability, workforce learning and career education.
