CDN Virtual College Awards 2020

@ColDevNet #CollegeAwards

The CDN Virtual College Awards took place on Thursday 3 December with over 300 guests virtually celebrating the talent and skills of staff and learners. The awards truly showcased a sector that can innovate and succeed in the toughest of times.

This year we warmly welcomed the hilariously wonderful Elaine C Smith to take the mic as Master of Ceremonies. We were also delighted to be joined by guest speaker Richard Lochhead MSP, Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science, who also inducted our latest member of the CDN College Hall of Fame, Richard Sagar MBE.

What a treat we had in store as New College Lanarkshire BA Musical Theatre students performed a breathtaking solo of ‘Always Remember Us This Way‘ and a group rendition from musical ‘Chicago.’ We also enjoyed fantastic performances from the Viana Dance Company and Piper Gordon Fisher, Forth Valley College graduate.

Your Guide to Virtual College Awards is now available to view below. The Guide is full of great content including a fantastic new feature – submission videos – each outlining the individual project plus what the judges really loved about it!
