Start your 2018 journey with Erasmus+

Last month Erasmus+ published the 2018 deadlines, the deadline for Key Action 1 Vocational Education and Training  is 1 February 2018 and for Key Action 2 it’s 21 March 2018, view here for further details. The fact that the budget for UK applicants has increased from 148 million euro to almost 170 million euro is also very good news and suggests that applicants might expect a high rate of success with applications.

If you are thinking of applying to Erasmus+ have a look at CDN’s Erasmus Toolkit here which has lots of information, videos, blogs and a toolkit that can help you with your application.  We can also put you in touch with other colleges and organisations that will help you with your application.

For those of you that are seasoned Erasmus + users you might want to think about applying for the VET Mobility Charter. The Charter rewards and promotes quality in mobility enabling, sending organisations to further develop their international strategies. Charter holders benefit from streamlined procedures, including the application process, the organisation of mobility projects and reporting activities. View here for more information.

Finally an Erasmus+ and Brexit Update – if UK leaves the EU without an agreement the UK Government has confirmed that the Treasury will underwrite grant agreements for Erasmus+ signed while the UK is still an EU Member State, even if payments continue beyond the point of the UK’s EU exit date.
